Prevention (after surgery or trauma)
General information
Annually, millions of (professional) athletes sustain injuries, 40% will have to undergo medical treatment. The most common sustained injuries are those in and around the ankle.
Prevention
In general, wearing the right shoes is also crucial for the prevention of injuries. If you wear the right shoes while working (safety shoes) or while training (running shoes), you could prevent yourself from sustaining an injury. Furthermore, a warming-up and/or cooling-down is also important to prevent injuries. Finally, wearing a ankle brace or taping the ankle down is also important to help prevent yourself from sustaining an injury. This will sufficiently protect your ankle, making it almost impossible to sustain an injury. To help you with this protection, we have several different braces in our assortment.
